That which holds your nature/
at such an awful distance/
leaves a stranger inside/
Alien, demon, other/
standing in relation to/
a manufactured world/
whose initiatory rites/
are ritual abuse/
through which generations carve/
their sigils deeper still/
and siphon gray matter/
through the leylines
“You are an unprotected force/
that takes away/
what we/
have chosen to grow/
Holding onto/
existence/
like a healing tomb/
leaves me feeding this hole/
drilled/
into your ground/
Abuse abuse/
leaves a stranger inside/
helping us die/
Extinction in my eyes/
Were you born/
and can you die?”
Hex of stagnation/
inverter of this holy life/
engine of all ruin and debt/
were you born and can you die?/
In the leaden maze of circumstance/
this curse holds ever tight/
center of the enemy/
of all human possibility/
drawing itself on my face
“Faster/
Everything goes a bit faster/
Slow, everything faster/
Were you born and can you die?”
II: Struggle
“Faster/
Everything goes/
dies faster/
Everything onward “
Each and every instance/
of damage to the avatar/
knocks the user more remote/
struggling in vain to trace/
the current backwards/
What could it hope to find/
but softer handcuffs/
looser reins/
a thicker mask/
a larger cage/
What/
does/
your/
imagination/
even/
allow you to want?
III: Survival
Despair at the miracle of our works/
Scorpion tail coming down/
Elaborate structure of punishment/
Psychotic engines turn/
For this we sow perversion of birthright/
and unceremonious corpse-heaps/
Our hounds must always bay/
Our sharks must always smell blood/
For in these waters/
it is not enough/
to advocate/
for your continued existence/
but rather you must/
declare your simple right to be/
at the expense/
of that of every other

Down the dark rabbit hole we go! Full of surprises, twists and turns. Instruments squirrel around constantly like a swarm of hungry bats. Sounds to me like every musician here is on slightly different speed drug but share the same ultimate vision: TEAR THE FABRIC OF SPACETIME. 𝙅𝙤𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙡

I really dig the goth vocals coupled with the metal growls. Plus they all shred...finally a cool Philly band that has their shit together. Cidimon Arustavi

I came accross Black Curse, and their first demo, on Greg Biehl / No Gleaming Light YT channel in late 2019 and a bit later, in 2020, as it was covid, a whole lot of time was spent at home listening to music.
In April 2020, I took a slap in my face. The songs that were already on the demo, with the new production here were so insane, it dragged me to hell. Black Curse is definitely one of the most violent band I listened in the last years. Next-level Black-Death metal for sure ! drs_dramm
This searing, four-track split from Bog Wizard (Michigan) and Dust Lord (Colorado) pairs stoner rock riffs with hard fantasy themes. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 10, 2021

Not many bands can keep my attention pretty much solely using synths, but this entity that is Lamp of Murmuur can do anything and evoke a wonderful atmosphere and showcase their ability to blend melody with a wall of static noise Xra Diabolist
